Description

This uphill track connect Herman Gulch to both Jones Pass and Watrous Gulch. It also allows for an easy option to descend the south gullies of Mt. Machebeuf, or to better access the East Ridge of Pettengell.

Reminder that Herman and Watrous Gulch ski lines both leave from the Herman Gulch Trailhead. If you drop into Watrous gulch you can ski out to the same parking lot.

IF, however, you descend into Jones Pass, you'll need either a car shuttle, or to climb back into either Herman or Watrous gulches in order to return to the TH.
