Overview

This is a somewhat obscure line on the northeast ridge of Mountain Boy that is short but sweet.

Description

When skiing in Mountain Boy Park, this north-facing gully can be seen from all angles. While short, it can provide an option for later in the day, once the rest of the park has turned to slush.

Several options for topping out of this couloir exist. Obviously one can boot it, after dropping into Mountain Boy Park from Snowfence Ridge or the Cosmic Couloir. You can also access it from the summit of Mountain Boy Peak on a heavy snow year, by skiing directly NW.

Lastly, you can drop the entire Mountain Boy East Face line and then climb/scramble (2nd class) the northeast ridge of Mountain Boy to access this line.
