Overview

A series of excellent low-angle lines can be found along Neff Mountain's west and south slopes. With only isolated pockets of steepness this zone is a good option when avalanche hazard is significant on bigger terrain. The snowmobile routes from FR 118 at Cumbres Pass provide easy splitboard and ski access.

Description

Follow a series of maintained snowmobile trails then traverse south to the top of this line, where it begins on a flat glacial bench below the steep upper slopes on Neff Mountain. The downhill route is comprised of open meadows and spruce glades descending a series of benches and low-angle drainages back to the Forest Road.
