Overview

Heart attack hill is an easily recognizable from the Independence Pass summit. It is the small mound to the southeast along the ridgeline that runs all the way to Grizzly Peak.

Description

Approach via either the Independence Pass summit trailhead or from a small pullout found a short bit down the road on from the pass summit on the west side of the pass.

Approach is straightforward with a short 1-1.5 mi (at the maximum) skin to the top of the small mound. Enjoy the early summer turns!
