There is no motorized access in Bonanza Flat Conservation Area. Ski up from the Mid-Mountain trailhead or take Transit to Trails directly to Empire Pass.

Overview

Best accessed from a Transit to Trails drop-off at Empire Pass, this line descends towards Bonanza Flat from the Deer Valley ridgeline.

Description

From Empire Pass gain the Summit County ridgeline, continue over two small knolls and the sawtooth summit. Start from the Deer Valley ropeline, making sure to stay to skiers left to avoid the stepper avalanche terrain.
